Marmesa - where the sea meets the land. Marmesa Vineyards are centred in San Luis Obispo, the rising star of the Californian Coast. Here, cool breezes are siphoned off the Pacific Ocean and travel up the valley to cool our grapes. En route, they have an enviable itinerary - the dramatic coastline of Morro Bay and the Big Sur, past the serene Nine Sisters Peaks, and finally reaching our peaceful coastal vineyards.
Our unique, cooler microclimate means that the wines have more finesse than their Napa cousins, with a style which is fresher and more aromatic. Mother Nature has been good to us here, so we try to respond in kind with our sustainable, low impact and integrated farming methods.
